What the editing covers
- Grammar, spelling and punctuation, in British or American English (your choice, applied consistently).
- Clarity and flow: long or ambiguous sentences rewritten, repetitions removed, transitions between paragraphs smoothed.
- Scientific style: consistent terms, units, abbreviations and tense; a formal register suited to a research article.
- Your meaning stays yours. We don't change data, results or arguments. Where a sentence could be read two ways, we leave a comment and ask.
You receive two files: a version with every change tracked, so you can accept or reject each one, and a clean version. One free follow-up round is included if you have questions about an edit within 30 days.

A page is 250 words of text to edit. Reference lists, tables of raw data and author details are not counted. Prices include the tracked and clean versions and one follow-up round.
Editing is optional and separate from peer review. Using this service does not influence the editorial decision, and not using it never counts against you. Editors may suggest language editing, but they never require our service in particular: any professional editor, or a fluent colleague, is equally fine.
How it works
- Send the request below with the word count. We reply within two working days with a confirmed price and an upload link.
- You accept the quote and upload the manuscript (Word format).
- We return the edited files by e-mail within the agreed time, then send the invoice.
